There Is No More Fulfilling Calling

In the first article, we looked at how Jesus called his apostles and some other disciples into a close relationship with him—especially in contrast with how he related to the crowds he often attracted. We saw how Jesus called these close followers his “brother and sister and mother,” members of his very own family (Mark 3:35). This is the kind of relationship he wants to have with each one of us.
