This time was totally different, Holly explained. Not like other times she tried to “start again” and then quickly fell back into her old way of life. This time a Catholic friend and fellow inmate invited her to prison ministry services. She turned to Jesus and accepted his forgiveness, went through RCIA, and became a Catholic. When Holly was released from prison, she made a whole new beginning—one that would not only change her own life, but the lives of more than a thousand other women.
