Jesus’ Mission Is Our Mission
I must be in my Father’s house. (Luke 2:49)
As we mentioned in our first article, there is more than one way to translate these words from Jesus when his parents found him in the Temple. The original Greek is somewhat obscure, but most translators use “in my Father’s house” because that’s where Jesus was when he said it. But another possible translation is “I must be about my Father’s business” or “I must be occupied with my Father’s things.”
